Court Loss For Bible Believers
The following from the Sydney Morning Herald reporting on the Bible Believers court case in Australia, no surprise in a world where people like Larry Flynt(of Hustler magazine), David Horowitz and Daniel Pipes etc., are treated as icons in the defense of free speech.
It sounds like the usual suspects have only managed to get one page of the site ordered removed, I have not yet heard any update or statement from Bible Believers themselves.

A FAR-RIGHT Christian group has been ordered to remove from its website a hate-filled newsletter that refers to the "Holocaust hoax" and claims Jews have "monopolistic control" over the world's media and film.
The Executive Council of Australian Jewry sued a group called Bible Believers and the man who calls himself the organisation's pastor for material on the website, which they said portrayed Jews as "inherently malevolent towards other people".
The Federal Court ruled that some parts of the website, which is controlled by pastor Anthony Grigor-Scott, contravened the Racial Discrimination Act. The act prohibits the publication of material "reasonably likely to offend, insult, humiliate or intimidate" a group on the grounds of its race or ethnic origin.
The offensive newsletter, entitled "Lies and the First Anniversary of the 9/11 Conspiracy", included claims the Holocaust had been used by Jews to raise money and as an excuse for foreign expansion and warmongering.

He did not disown any of the material published on the Bible Believers' site and claimed that the matters raised on it were of "academic interest".
Mr Grigor-Scott's defence was rejected and he was ordered to remove the material from the website. He was also prohibited from republishing it and ordered to pay the applicant's costs.
Before starting action in the Federal Court, the Executive Council of Australian Jewry made a complaint to the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission, but the commission terminated the complaint ...
For those interested, the newsletter they're referring to can still be found on the website. Needless to say back-up copies have been made should it actually come down, for "personal use" of course. ;-) Their's a wealth of reading to be found at the Bible Believers website; I highly reccomend the Witness to History e-book by Michael Walsh which is mirrored there, listed under Natural Resources from the main page. Personally I think the version at HRP is formatted much better, but sadly many of the chapters come up 404 now.

There can be few historical dramas the embroidery of which comes near to matching that which has been woven about Hitler's Germany. Of this epic tens of thousands of books have been written, television and radio programmes made, and films produced. Yet who can deny that the truth is even more distant today than it has ever been. So much so that very little of what is written today is other than fanciful notion.
Witness to History is not an opinion unless it is that of the main players whose part created, shaped and finally pulled the shroud over the Third Reich. Their contribution then is clearly a relevant one. It is their war, without the embroidery. It is the story of a nation that broke free from the old order, soared to heights undreamed of, but not beyond the range of the gun. It is an epic written by the men who made it so.
I am the spectator. The man who sat on the hill and watched it happen. My only contribution is to string the quotations together. I am if you like painting pictures with quotations. I am putting together a jigsaw that when completed should provide you with a picture that will allow a more balanced view of the period.
How you colour the picture in afterwards is entirely up to yourself; your prejudices, your ethics and your cultural leanings. You are welcome to them, but please, do not let us have a war about it. We have had enough of those already. More than enough.
DEDICATION
I have written this book for all the innocent victims of war, of all nations and creeds. Not the least the children for in this, the 2nd World War; they were the true innocents without vote of influence. A lost generation; the children who were betrayed and lost to our world by a generation to whom they were entrusted. They the children reaped the wind they did not sow.
I hope that this book provides some of the answers and makes their brutal and untimely deaths less than a mere statistic and more of a lesson for the future.
